A beautifully displayed bridal veil dating from the late nineteenth century. The oval Napoleon III globe has preserved this vale that is adorned with symbolic decorations. The dove is a symbol of peace, while each of the diamond-shaped mirrors represents the number of children borne by the mother – they are added to the veil at the arrival of each child. The gold brass foliage includes vine leaves and flowers. Another similar piece also available separately.
